I am an interdisciplinary artist and writer based in Chicago, IL. My work encompasses contemporary dance, sound art, hybrid-genre writing, and alternative medical modalities. Coming to my practice from a background of intense neoclassical ballet training, I rely heavily on academic research and archival science methodologies in order to engage with certain historical materialities of embodiment. I often perform under the moniker Charmion. I also freelance as a professional dancer in both Chicago and NYC.

I received my BFA in Studio Art and my BA in Visual/Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, and I am currently a staff writer covering dance and performance at Sixty Inches from Center.
